Judd Eastman Truax Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judd Eastman Truax of Cedar Falls, Iowa, born in Brandon, Iowa, who passed away on January 7, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Linzy George and Iva Beryl Truax (Eastman); his grandson William Judd Reinart; and his siblings, Larry, Jake, Thomas Truax and Sally Schmitz.
He is survived by: his niece Cindy Garwood; his nephew Robert Truax; his wife Evelyn Jean Kuhn; his daughters, Jacqueline Truax of Cedar Falls and Susan Reinart (Scott) of Cedar Falls; his grandchildren, Katie Cornelius (Jeff), Zach Nesvik, Daniel Reinart and Samuel Reinart; and his brother Mark Truax of Marion. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Truax Family Scholarship (https://givetoiowa.org) that Judd and Evelyn established for Marching Band students at the University of Iowa, the Will Reinart Determination Scholarship through the University of Northern Iowa Foundation, or First Christian Church in Cedar Falls.
