He is survived by: his wife Maxine Whitehead (Cannon); his children, Dan Whitehead (Maridee) of Deerfield Beach, Luan McGrane (Dan) of Cedar Falls and Lori Segneri (Tim) of Carlsbad, California; his grandchildren, Thomas Whitehead (Annie), Elizabeth Rizzo, Jess Johnson (Matt), Ian Lippold, Leah McGrane, Dominic Segneri (Morgan) and Savannah Bosely (Christian); his great grandchildren, Evie, Quinn, Logan, Lyla, Violet, Leif, Liam and Ari; and his brothers, Bill Welcher of Waterloo and Bob Welcher (Janice) of Freeport, Illinois..
