With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John E. Hartman of Cedar Falls, Iowa, born in West Bend, Iowa, who passed away on August 21, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Violet Hartman (Carpenter) and Theodore Hartman; his siblings, Bernard and Marlene; his brother-in-law Jerry; his niece Joan Hartman; his parents-in-law, Fred and Dolly Wirtz; his in-laws, Jean, Roy Reeves, Eileen Wirtz, Mary, Duane Hanson and Jim Wirtz; and his pet Mugsy.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Ann Wirtz; his sons, Jeff (Jennifer) of Cedar Falls, Jason of Eugene and Justin (Amy) of Urbandale, Iowa; his grandchildren, Savannah (Andrew), Jacob (Payton), Luke, Amaya, Asher John and Andrew; his great grandchild Theodore Everett; his brothers, Melvin Hartman (Muffy) of Florida and Dwayne Hartman (Mary) of Pocahontas Iowa; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret Hartman of West Bend and Donna Wirtz of Emmetsburg Iowa.
