The passing of Jo Everly (Cedar Falls, Iowa), born in Oskaloosa, Iowa leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 1, 2025 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Hol and Anna Hol; her in-laws, Lowell and Gladys Everly; her brothers, Delbert Hol, Richard Hol and Kenny Hol; and her siblings-in-law, Charles Samson and Diane Funk (Everly).

She is survived by: her friends, Karen and Phyllis; her husband Gene Everly of Cedar Falls; her children, Paige Everly of Cedar Falls, Chadwick and Derise (Mark Luna) of Waterloo; her great-nephew Travis Bundy; her grandchildren, Lauren Vlasak, Georgia Vlasak, Dru Brown, Marcus Luna, Haylee Luna, Jakob Luna and Reese Luna; her sisters, Marilyn Samson (Hol) of Prairie City and Janet VanKampen (Hol) of Pella; her siblings-in-law, Steven (Jeannie Everly) of Knoxville, Anita (Kevin Hoch) of Melcher-Dallas and James Funk of Indianola; and also Sofie Everly of Waterloo. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A rosary was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Richardson Funeral Service (615 Main St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Patrick Catholic Church (705 Main St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A reception was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 5:00 PM at 1934 Irving St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613.
