It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janelle Wilks of Cedar Falls, Iowa, born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on December 31, 2022, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Cedar Falls; her great-niece Elsie Eileen Swanson; and her cousin Josh Brandom. She is survived by: her daughter Janelle Eileen Wilks; her parents, Robert Holzinger (Gail Massey) and Claire Holzinger (Brandom) of Milan, IL; her husband Scott Wilks of Cedar Falls; her daughters, Greenley of Cedar Falls and Gracyn Wilks of Cedar Falls; her sisters, Tara Gengler (Andrew) of Moline and Yvonne Schmulbach (Jeffrey) of Milan; her siblings-in-law, Mark Wilks (Tracy) of St. Charles, IL and Stacey Ruark (CP) of Coal Valley, IL; her grandmother Irma Brandom of Moline; her friend Amanda McCormick-Puebla of Moline; and her nieces and nephews, Taylor Swanson, Meghan, Quinten, Pia Gengler, Sydney, Aiden, Baylen Leemans, Josh Ruark, Amanda Hill, Ashleigh Tapscott and Easton Wilks. She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews; and other family and friends.
