With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Timmer (Cedar Falls, Iowa), born in Dyersville, Iowa, who passed away on September 24, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Timmer and Monica Timmer (Steffen); and his siblings, Gilbert, Gerald, Bill, Ron, Judy and Eileen.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Tim Timmer (Kelly) of Cedar Falls, Tina Butcher (Bryan) of Waterloo, Dean Timmer of England and David Timmer; his grandchildren, Madisen (Jordan), Calvin, Carson Timmer, Alex King (Paige) and Amanda Wheeler (Tim); and his sons, Daniel Timmer and Joe Timmer (Stephanie). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the church, Cedar Valley Hospice, or the Cedar Bend Humane Society.
