Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Healy and Florence Healy (Costigan); his wife Harriet Ann; and his brothers, Raymond and Cornelius.
He is survived by: his children, James C. Healy (Carol) of Omaha, NE, John A. Healy (Amy Jo) of Nashville, TN, Peter R. Healy (Bridget) of Fitchburg, WI and Ann H. Healy-Kelly (Brendan) of Mansfield, TX. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen the Witness Student Center (1019 W 23rd St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). The inurnment will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Stephen the Witness or Western Home Community in Cedar Falls, IA, Oakwood Village in Madison WI, or Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg, WI.
