We are sad to announce that on November 23, 2021, at the age of 84, Herman Merle Bohlen of Cedar Falls, Iowa, born in Dumont, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, August Bohlen and Trena Bohlen (Bengen); his wife Lois Kaye Kinseth; and his siblings, Harland, Gordon, Clarence, William Bohlen, Loretta Viet and Elsie Werkman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheila Bohlen of Cedar Falls, Deb Knudsen of Corona, CA, Shelly Lindquist (Tony) of Minneapolis, MN, Teri Folkerts (Lance) of Boerne, TX and Kris Klunder (Brook) of Cedar Falls; his grandchildren, Alyse Harris (Jara), Erica Dickerman (Brad), Whitney Novak (Chris), Tyler Folkerts (Megan), Noah Klunder (Becca), Owen, Sara and Vada Klunder; and his sister-in-law Virginia Bohlen of Waterloo. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Turkey Hill Ranch Bible Camp in Vienna, MO or UnityPoint Hospice.
