She was predeceased by: her sister Susanna Martens; her granddaughter Hadley Joy Rogers; and her aunts and uncles, Rudolf, Edgar Preiss, Annelies Fuller and Anamarie Gulley.

She is survived by: her parents, Hans Martens and Gisela Martens (Preiss) of Hudson; her husband Dwight Alan Rogers; her sons, Justin Lee Jensen (Whitney) of Cedar Falls, Benjamin Ross Jensen of Kansas City and Nicholas Hans Jensen (Karen) of Huntsville, Alabama; her stepsons, Derrick Rogers (Natalie) of Cedar Falls and Dustin Rogers (Norah) of Grundy Center; her grandchildren, Ellyn, Hunter, Jayse, Kylar, Myles, Hayden, Harper, Huxlee and Henley; her aunts, Theresa Shields and Marion Preiss; her cousins, Ronald Fuller, Karl Fuller, Patricia Deubach (Preiss), Mark Preiss, Frances Jones (Preiss), Kristine Preiss, Ursula Preiss and Heidi Preiss; her nieces and nephews, Shannon Small, Jeannie, Alex Hernandez, Emily Soldwisch (Jensen), Ross and Lee Jensen; and her family Yahtzee.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Orchard Hill Church (3900 Orchard Hill Dr, Cedar Falls, IA 50613).
