It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harlon Russell Eckhoff of Cedar Falls, Iowa, who passed away on September 23, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Eckhoff and Hattie Eckhoff (Dreesman); his wife Ella June Everts; his son Jimmie Lee Eckhoff; his granddaughter Dana Eckhoff; and his sister Mary Ann Huisman.

He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Eckhoff (Sharon) of Janesville, Linda Sterling (Jim), Calvin Eckhoff (Cindy) of Cedar Falls, Wayne Eckhoff (Karen) of Waterloo, Wendell Eckhoff (Sue) of Stewartville and LuAnn Ray (Thomas) of Waverly; and his sister Grace Berends of Cedar Falls. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or the Western Home Communities Employee Appreciation Fund.
