It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Phillips in Cedar Falls, Iowa, born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on December 13, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Phillips and Winnie Lorena Phillips (Evenson); and his brothers, Loyal, Lowell, Melvin and Darrell Phillips.

He is survived by: his sister Lois Phillips of Cedar Falls; his sister-in-law Lillian Phillips; his nephew Joel Phillips of Lanexa, VA; his niece Evette Marshall (Steve); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tanya Marshall and Jordan Smith of Poquoson, VA..

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of choice.

As a person with special needs, his brothers and sister had a particular tenderness for him.
