It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary M. Hanks of Cedar Falls, Iowa, born in Manson, Iowa, who passed away on October 18, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Milo Hanks and Neva Hanks (Sigler); and his sister Donna Roethler. He is survived by: his wife Marlys Hanks of Cedar Falls; his children, Steven Hanks (Amanda) of Leslie, AR, Debbie DeHeck (Marty) of Waterloo, Nancy Hanks of Waterloo and Sandy Streets (John) of Grimes; and his grandchildren, Tammy, Allen, Nick and Sam. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and several step-grand & great-grandchildren.
