He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Cleveland and Oletha Minerva Fletcher (Brust-Shultz); his former wife Janyce White; and his sisters, Geraldine, Yvonne, Sharon and Connie.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Marilyn Fletcher of Cedar Falls, Iowa; and his children, Cathy Birdsell (Walter) of La Cross, Carol Fletcher of Marion, Chuck Fletcher (Shanna) of Ely and Cheri Grieder (Paul) of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home (1825 W 12th St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
