She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewie Visser and Evelyn Visser (Batey); her husband Harold Slawson; and her children, Dee Peterson and John Slawson.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Slawson (Cathy) of Minneapolis, MN and Jane Stout (Chris) of Ankeny, IA; her grandchildren, Kyle, Connor Slawson, Lucas, Nicole Stout, Stacey Peterson and Sara Groen; and her great grandchildren, Andrew and Elizabeth Groen.
