As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Everett may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Tabor (John) of Soldotna and James (Laura); and his granddaughter Charlotte of Waterloo.
In Waterloo Everett enjoyed attending Silver Sneakers classes at the YMCA, and during the pandemic he made artfully crafted hand made hunting long bows, a skill he taught himself by way of YouTube videos.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the Family YMCA of Black Hawk County in Waterloo.
