She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hesse and Lora B. Hesse (Sells); her daughter Brenda Theisen; and her siblings, Ethel Gibson, Wesley, Leslie "Shorty" and Kenneth "Pete" Hesse.
She is survived by: her husband LaVern Schweer of Cedar Falls; her son-in-law Don Thiesen of Fresno, California; and her grandchildren, Katelyn Thiesen and Tyler Thiesen.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home (218 2nd St SE, Waverly, IA 50677). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
