It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emogene Edna (Wichtendahl) Batt of Cedar Falls, Iowa, born in West Bend, Iowa, who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wichtendahl and Sophia Wichtendahl (Harms); her husband Harold "Mike" Batt of Paul's Lutheran Church; and her siblings, Bernard, Delbert, Eleanor, Florence, Harlan, Henry, Laona, Laura, Lorraine and Selma.

She is survived by: her daughter Tamara Buchanan (Brian); and her grandchildren, Meghan and Ian Buchanan.
