He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Stow and Annie Mae Stow (Reiter); his daughter La Jeana Rae Bookout; and his sister Delores Palmer. He is survived by: his wife Nola Lee; his sons, James (Cindy) of Janesville and Rodney (Marina) of Zaragoza, Spain; his son-in-law Denis Bookout of Arkansas; his grandchildren, Jamie Fulton (Brian) of Dunkerton, Zach Stow of Minneapolis, MN, Ashley Stow of Janesville, Brad Bookout (Shana) of Arkansas and Brent Bookout of Arkansas; his great grandchildren, Logan Fulton, Brenna Fulton, Radley Fulton, Alexia Bookout, Kendall Bookout and Brooklyn Bookout; and his brother-in-law Les Palmer (Kathy).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 14th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Cedar Falls Gospel Hall (1302 Walnut St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613).
