He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar T. East and Violet C. East (Kernahan); his daughter Zina Vanessa East; and his brother Raymond C. East. He is survived by: his wife Elma East of Cedar Falls; his children, Edgar A. East (Lindsey) of Waterloo and Wilma East of Brooklyn, NY; his grandchildren, Vanessa, Samuel, Lucia and Benjamin East of Waterloo; his brother David East of Atlanta, GA; his sister-in-law Lois East of Nassau, Bahamas; and his nephews, Raymond G. and Gian P. East.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Locke (1519 W 4th St, Waterloo, IA 50702). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
