He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Moon and Bernita Moon; his sons, Jacob and Matthew; and his stepdaughter Ashlee Gander.
He is survived by: his children, Meagan Feltes (Adam) of Ankeny, Emily South (Jason) of Ankeny, Michael (Gracie), Mitchell Gander (Jamie), Steven Gander and Aliah Gander; his grandsons, Aiden, James and Jacob; and his sisters, Debra Prutch (John) and Jeanne Schmit (Dick). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service (400 South St, Waterloo, IA 50701).
