She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Ericksen and Mathilda Ericksen (Greenwald); her spouse LaVerne Berning; and her sister Flora Brewester. She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Berning of Cedar Falls, Randy Berning (Patty) of Cedar Falls and Tim Berning of Cedar Falls; her grandchildren, Nick, Christina, Jamie and Carrie; her stepgrandchildren, Erica and Luke; her great grandchildren, Carter, Rylee, Jace and Jax; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Makenzie, Meaghan, Madilynn and Addison.
