Donald Gunderson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 13, 2024, at the age of 89, Donald Gunderson (Cedar Falls, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Gunderson and Julia Gunderson (Ukasick); his wife Mary Jo; and his siblings, James Gunderson (Marjorie), Marlin Gunderson (Shirley), Cindy Gunderson and Julianne Chedester (Robert).
He is survived by: his daughters, Camilla Gunderson of Cedar Falls, Jennifer Kopriva (Robert) of Clear Lake and Denise Aalderks (Leon) of Dike; his grandchildren, Jacob Kopriva (Holly), Rachel Murphy (Jason), Megan Kopriva, Andrew Aalderks and Alexandria Aalderks; his great grandchildren, Kai Kopriva, Koen Kopriva and Nora Murphy; his close friend Lucille Whitehead (family: Ellen Whitehead, Joellen Hatchett, Jane Whitehead, Sara Whitehead); his sister Suzanne Roeder (Kenneth) of De Smet; and his siblings-in-law, Patty Greiner and Larry Schachel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Dike-New Hartford Dollars for Scholars for which he served as the first president.
