Dixie Long Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dixie Long (Cedar Falls, Iowa), who passed away on October 18, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Shepard and Dorothy Shepard; her sister Sharon; her son Rodney Long; and her parents-in-law, Violet Long and Keith Long.
She is survived by: her husband Marvin; her daughters, Melody Collins (Greg) and Pamela Foland (Mike); her grandchildren, Joshua Harper (Susie), Nicholas Long (Christina), Mikayla Foland, Brooke Foland (Matt), Brianna Long and Travis Long; her brother Leonard Shepard (Suzie); and her close friend Karen. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Memorial donations will be sent to the American Heart Association or American Lung Association.
