With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dixie Claire Kanago of Cedar Falls, Iowa, who passed away on August 29, 2022 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Shawver and Daisy Shawver (Richards); her husband Eldon Kanago; and her siblings, Maurine Glenn, Jenny Harsin, Billie Hoekstra, Josephine Black and Cecil Leroy Shawver.
She is survived by: her children, Kristi, Bryce, Kerwin and Chris Miller of Minneapolis, MN; her grandchildren, Julia, Aaron Ramsey, Meredith, Cory Zwyno, Matthew Frey, David, Allison Frey, Anthony, Katie Kanago, Timo Miller, Samu, Justine Miller, Matti and Katie Miller; and her great grandchildren, Nolan Ramsey, Elsie Frey, Alexander Zwyno, Finn Miller and Emmi Sophia Miller.
In lieu of flowers, Dixie's family suggests a donation to St. Croix Hospice or a hospice organization of your choosing.
