He is survived by: his former wife Bonnie Buendorf; his wife Lana Huebner (Jacobsen); his daughters, Terri Snell (Dean) of California, Kimberly Miller (Mike) of Missouri, Wendy Hochreiter (Roberta) of Illinois and Bobbi Jo Renkel (Erik); and his stepchildren, Greg (Irene), Dan (Lori), Suzie (John), Darrell (Julie), Jane (Anthony), Carla and Kim (Tim). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home (1825 W 12th St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Nazareth Lutheran Church (7401 University Ave, Cedar Falls, IA 50613).
