He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Nichols and Mabel Nichols (Carter); his wife Sue; his children, Kari Nitzschke (Stephen) of Tampa, FL, Brad Nichols (Julie) of Cedar Falls and Casey Llewellyn (Shawn) of Urbandale; his brothers, Ken Nichols (RuthAnne) and Gene Nichols; his sister-in-law Chris Nichols; and his brother Bud Nichols. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren, four bonus grandsons.
