She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Earl Wiemer and Anna Wiemer (Sorensen); her children, Dennis Ford (Michele) of Cedar Falls, Steve Ford (Wendy) of Coralville and Barb Gager (Grant) of Cedar Falls; her grandchildren, Aaron Ford (Gina) of Dallas, TX, Lindsey Humpal (Matt) of Cedar Falls, Holly Ford of Houston, TX, Ben Ford (Faith) of Minneapolis, MN and Andy Ford of Boulder, CO; her stepgrandchildren, Blake Roe of Iowa City and Brianne Roe of Coralville; her great grandchildren, Maya, Jackson, Reid, Lucy, Dominic of Matthew, AJ and Lola; and her husband Marvin Ford.

“I met Charlotte in the summer of 2019 as a member of Prairie Lakes Church’s Older Adult Ministry team. It was a privilege to visit her until the pandemic intervened. I always looked forward to seeing Charlotte since she was always so upbeat regardless of life’s challenges. It seemed like she was always smiling! Such a sweet person, so kind to everyone, and she dearly loved the Lord. I will miss her. “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints” (Ps. 116:15)”
