She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arthur Ayers and Helen Ayers; her husband Leon Taylor of Cedar Falls; her daughters, Susan Armstrong (Daniel) of Cedar Falls, Andrea Elliott (Mark) of Des Moines and Katie Taylor Clausen of Cedar Falls; her grandchildren, Alexandra Calhoun Kennedy (Conner), Isabelle Armstrong (Carter Burmester), Nicholas and Natalie Clausen; her siblings, Judy Hughes of Waterloo and Larry Ayers of Gilbertville; her sisters-in-law, Lillian Frost, Elaine Ames and Joyce McCarville; her nephew Michael Ayers; her siblings-in-law, Jan Ayers, Larry Hughes, Tom McCarville and Kelsey Ames; and also, Todd Clausen, Halston, Audrey Vogel and Bowen Calhoun.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service (400 South St, Waterloo, IA 50701). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (650 Stephan Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701).
