It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Burton Ford Renner Jr. of Cedar Falls, Iowa, who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton, Sr. Renner and Zatha Renner (Muir); his wife Marcia Lauraine Wolf; and his brothers, Clark, Dale and Robert Renner.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Jo Milligan (George), Russell Wayne Renner (Jan) of Cedar Falls and Lisa Lynn Smidt (Mike); his grandchildren, Tayler Jo Renner, Jordan Thomas (Megan) and Renner Joseph Breitbach; and his great grandchildren, Jameson Mick Harnett and Cohen Renner Breitbach.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 9:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home (1825 W 12th St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at the Washington Chapel Cemetery (7035 W Bennington Rd, Cedar Falls, IA 50613).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
