She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Kelp and Helen Kelp (Stanek). She is survived by: her children, Dawn Doeden (Ernie) of Cedar Falls, Kari Carney (Kevin) of Norwalk, Kathleen Cobler of Marion, Scott Cobler (Stephanie) of Iowa City, Matthew Cobler (Leann) of Johson Creek, WI and Jennifer Boatman (Quentin) of Bennett; and her grandchildren, Lindsay, Jacob, Laramie, Joshua, Kelsey, Carson, Madisen, Xander and Gage. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Richardson Funeral Service (615 Main St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM and at 11:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to Veterans of Foreign Wars, Alzheimer's Association, or Cedar Valley Hospice.
