She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Hillestad and Mabel Hillestad (Komprud); her spouse Arland "Axe" Haugen; her son-in-law Clif Larson; and her great grandchild Titus Daniel Schaefer.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Schaefer (Dick) of Littleton, CO, Nancy Larson of Ames and David (Tori) of Macomb, IL; her grandchildren, Siri Schaefer, Jocelyn Gilbert (Tim), Ben Schaefer (Chelsa), Shaina Rich (James), Nicole Houston (Erik) and Danny Schaefer (Danielle); and her great grandchildren, Myles, Aubrey, Sydney, Raum, Brodie, Ryker, Charlotte, Jarius, Emma, Lydia, Sarah, Zachary, Ivy and Tessa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
