We bid farewell to Betty H. Mathes of Cedar Falls, Iowa, born in Oran, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 1, 2024 at the age of 78. Betty touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Gene; her niece Dawn Moffett; her nephew Allan Huegli; and her great-niece Lexi Wood. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Mathes of Cedar Falls and Michelle Finnegan (Tom) of Sheboygan, WI; her grandchildren, Blake Mathes, Kyle Finnegan (Lexi) and Jacob Finnegan; her great grandchild Harper Finnegan; and her siblings, Janet Meyer, Kenneth Schwake (Cheryl), Nancy Stocker (Bob Fischer), Carol Graveman (Curt) and Dean Schwake. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
