Barbara McDonald Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara McDonald of Cedar Falls, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 5, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Knox Dunn II and Mary Frances Dunn (Luckey); her husband Larry McDonald; her sister Catherine Dunn; and her niece Jaimie Dunn.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Flannery of Cedar Falls, IA and Colleen Melz (Carey) of Lakeville, MN; her grandchildren, Julie Flannery, Connor, Carter and Caitlyn Melz; and her siblings, Jim, Tom (Yassie), Bob Dunn (Denise), Mary Ellen Settle and Elizabeth Milligan Garcia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (650 Stephan Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to The Alzheimer's Association of Northeast Iowa, The Lymphoma Research Foundation or Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
