He is survived by: his wife Karla Tri of Cedar Falls; his son Tyler Tri of Cedar Falls; his mother Marlene Rick (Howard) of Walford; his siblings, Tom Tri (Corey) of Belle Plaine, Teresa Schafer (Greg) of Swisher, Tim Tri of Cedar Rapids, Robbie Tri of Cedar Rapids, Renae Hansen (Dee) of Olin, Brian Urban (Karen) of Cedar Rapids and Rich Urban (Kiaya) of Tipton; his father-in-law Carl Kelchen of Cascade; and his siblings-in-law, Jackie Noel (Mike) of Dubuque and Bryon Kelchen (Carolyn) of Cascade. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
