He was predeceased by: his parent Lee Riley. He is survived by: his wife Marilee Riley; his children, Riley McAlpin (Darlene) and Christina Carlton (Matt); his grandchildren, Ben, Grace, Genevieve, Isaiah and Lucas Carlton; his siblings, Jan McAlpin (Judy) of Greenville, TN, Jerry McAlpin of Livingston, TN and Charlene Ackerman (Paul) of Waterloo; and his mother-in-law Veronica Riley of Charles City. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A rosary will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Richardson Funeral Service (615 Main St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Patrick Catholic Church (705 Main St, Cedar Falls, IA 50613).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Patrick Church or the Cedar Falls AMVETS.
