He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Hanson and Hazel Hanson (Riddle); his parents-in-law, Fred and Eva Anderson (Hoar); his brothers, Harold Hanson and Brady Hanson; his daughter Ann Cox; his sister Patsy; his brother-in-law Paul Peterson; his nephew Roger Peterson; and his brother-in-law Heral Jensen.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Chris Hanson (Patty), Steve Hanson (Kim), Ken Hanson (Wade Petersen) and Julie Whitney (Steve); his grandchildren, Justin (Tanya), Travis (Paola), Ben (Cassandra), Heidi (Tyler), Emily (Chris), Isaac (Sarah), Carina (Ben), Bethany (Khord), Ryan, Erin (Alex), Luke (Maddee), Rebecca and Cameron; his great grandchildren, Austin, Jayda, Baylee, Mwajelou, Malakhi, Audrey, Owen, Alaina and Cooper; his sister Lois Jensen; and his sister-in-law Cathy Hanson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
