He was predeceased by: his parents, Earle Corlett and Irene Corlett (Kishman). He is survived by: his children, Sara Malone (Sean) of Chicago and Michael Corlett of Ankeny; and his siblings, Wayne Corlett (Bev) of Castalia and Carmen Paddock of Tacoma. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Veterans Memorial Hospital and Home Care or Castalia Fire Station.
