She was predeceased by: her parent Leida Mueller (Ahlers); her husband George; her daughter Suzanne; her brother George Mueller; and her father William Mueller.

She is survived by: her daughter Debra Schneider (Fred) of Elgin, Iowa; and her grandchildren, Darryl Merrick (Rui Song) of Fontana, Jason Merrick (Lori) of Princeton, Jennifer Merrick of Louisville and Derick Soppe (Erica) of Greenfield Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Caroline's honor, may be given to Zion Lutheran Church, Castalia or Good Samaritan Society, Postville.
