It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Max DeWitt of Casey, Iowa, who passed away on September 22, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley DeWitt and Hazel DeWitt (Duke); his son-in-law Jack Larson; and his siblings, Kathleen Stewart (Lyle), Ila Lassek (Bill), Charles DeWitt (June), Eldon DeWitt (Gladys) and Donald DeWitt.
He is survived by: his wife Dorthy Slater; his children, Betty Christensen, Bobby DeWitt (Carolyn), Barbara DeWitt and Beverly Larson; his grandchildren, Michelle DeWitt (Ellen) and Randy DeWitt (Melissa); and his great grandchildren, Michael, Anna, Allie and Alyse DeWitt.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to the family for later designation to the Guthrie County Hospital in Guthrie Center, Adair Fire and Ambulance, or the Casey Fire Department.
