He was predeceased by: his father Bobbie Murphy; his sister Patti Murphy; and his brother-in-law Roger Caltrider. He is survived by: his mother Sharlene Kay Murphy (Freeman) of Casey; his siblings, Richard Murphy (Annette) of Casey and Pam Murphy of Atlantic; his nieces and nephews, Josh Murphy of Atlantic, Shane Murphy (Megan) of Redfield, Bobbi Jo Murphy (Eric) of Massena, Erin Lee Nourse of Des Moines, Susi Truner of Coon Rapids, Chey Wagner of Des Moines, Cass Wagner of Des Moines and Sunni Proctor (Aaron) of Texas; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Zach Mathisen (Ella) of Atlantic, Monte Murphy of Redfield, Landon Proctor of Texas, Jana Lambert (Brentin) of Atlantic, Dani Bateman (Max) of Atlantic, Ashlyn Adams of Lewis, Emma Proctor of Texas, Kaylee Proctor of Texas and Taylor Truner of Coon Rapids; and also, Livy Bateman of Atlantic and Milani Flippen of Texas. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
