She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy A. Avey and Vivian F. Avey (Tichnor); her husband Ralph Lloyd Sheeder; her siblings, Bruce, Larry Avey and Irene Sheldahl; and her brother-in-law Chuck Sheldahl.
She is survived by: her children, Ray Sheeder (Sue) of Johnston, Kathleen "Kat" Betts (David) of Stuart, Gail Sheeder of Casey and Debra Sheeder of Newton; her grandchildren, Brandi Nevins (Lyle), April Dillinger, Jamie Willis (Jason), Jessica Gohn (Jay), Tawnya Sheeder, Zak Sheeder (Caitlin), Tracy Hall (Darin), Jeremiah Betts (Christine), Bridget Sheeder, Britni Sheeder, Tiffany Sheeder, Brice Sheeder, Valerie Sheeder and Jeremy Sheeder; her brother Chuck Avey (Nadine) of Stuart; and her sisters-in-law, Brenda Avey of North Carolina and Judy Avey of Guthrie Center. She is also survived by 31 great-grandchildren.
