Darlene Mae Bassett Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene Mae Bassett of Casey, Iowa, who passed away on June 21, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Morten Sunds and Marie Sunds (Brekenfeld); her spouse Merle Bassett; and her siblings, Marilyn Warner, Warren Sunds and Kay Olson.
She is survived by: her sons, Doug (Loni) of Milford, David (Michelle) of Panora and Greg (Pam) of Sheldon; her grandchildren, Nick (Cindy) of Gilbert, Alex (Amy) of Oronoco, MN, Sam (Catherine) of Orange City, Katy Shonk (Reagan) of Cedar Falls, Logan of Sheldon and Gage of Sioux Falls, SD; her great grandchildren, Holly, Natalie, Bryson, Abigail, Bowen and Bennett; and her sister-in-law Myrna Whetstone. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
