He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Walsh (Connolly) and James Milton Walsh; his parents-in-law, Herbert and Eleanor Hosch (Zieser); his brothers-in-law, Marty Dolphin, Richard Hosch and Bob Blankenship; and his niece Sara Hosch.
He is survived by: his children, Shannon Milton (Andy), James Walsh (Andrea), Jonathan Walsh (Amanda), Adam Walsh (Erin) and Erin Walsh; his wife Susan; his grandchildren, Alex, Eli, Finley, Avery, Jace, Whitney, Micah, Rylie, Camden, Declan and Kiernan; his sisters, Charlotte Halverson (Jim), Monica Blankenship and Jane Aschtgen (Herb); and his in-laws, Bob Hosch (Sandy), Mary Gossman and Shirley Dolphin. He is also survived by his family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital.
