He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Beck and Clara Beck (Wecker); his wife Marie A. Goedken; his son Nick R. Beck Jr.; his granddaughter Angela Ripple; his son-in-law Timothy Webber; his siblings, Tony Beck (Mary Ann), Caroline Beck, Margaret Fonck (Philip) and Matilda Carroll (Joe); and his siblings-in-law, William "Billy" Goedken, Gerald Goedken, Adeline Thomson (Carl), Esther Luensmann (John) and Theresa Goedken.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Lynn Riesberg (Justin) of Delhi, IA, Kathy Ripple (John Craig) of Eldridge, IA, Mike Beck (Pattie) of Cascade, IA, Jane Gabel (Tom) of Palos Heights, IL, Peggy Donovan (Bill) of Cascade, IA, Dave Beck (Kathy) of Cascade, IA and Sue Webber of Peosta, IA; and his daughter-in-law Joyce Beck of Dubuque, IA. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
Because of the unprecedented conditions in our country right now due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, a private family visitation for Nick will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at the Reiff Funeral Home in Cascade, Iowa.
