With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lauretta M. Brus of Cascade, Iowa, who passed away on February 21, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edward and Marie Elizabeth Royal (Nelson); her parents-in-law, Anthony and Lillian Brus (Daurer); and her siblings-in-law, Darlene Martz (Warren), Leo Brus and Edmund Powers.
She is survived by: her children, Judith Ann Brus of Phoenix, AZ, William "Bill" Brus (Joani Bergfeld) of Zwingle, Alan James Brus (Ann) of Dubuque and Beth Ann Brus (Tony Kerper) of Cascade; her grandchildren, Shelby Schaefer (Scott), Samantha Pregler (Nathan), Zoey Thole and Dallas Harry (Jeff Jr.); her great grandchildren, Lillian, Izzabella and Jeff Harry; her brother Wilfrid Royal (Cleo) of Rock Island, IL; and her sisters-in-law, Jane Cochran of Davenport, IA and Ruth Ann Powers of Burlington, IA..
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Reiff Funeral Home (205 Hayes St SW, Cascade, IA 52033). A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
