We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2020, at the age of 102, Ida Breitbach of Cascade, Iowa, born in Dyersville, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank W. Schemmel and Lucy M. Schemmel (Bisenius); her husband Elmer Breitbach; her son-in-law Alan Kurt; her grandson Travis Kurt; her siblings, Viola Wulfekuhle, Leonora Nabor, Lambert Schemmel, Genevieve Pape, Anthony Schemmel, Charles Schemmel, Mary Willenbring, Lucy Digman and Joseph Schemmel; and her parents-in-law, George, Anna Breitbach (Takes), Marie, Roy Devine, Edward, Lauretta Breitbach and Melvin Breitbach.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Breitbach and Ronda Kurt of Cascade; her grandchildren, Ryan Topping (Amy), Tory Topping (Abigail), Aaron Kurt (Debra) and Josh Kurt; and her great grandchildren, Kayla Kurt (Bryce), Ashley Grill (Cody), Lauren, Emily, Austin Kurt, Lilly, Trenten, Tanner and Adelyn Topping.
In light of the pandemic, there will be no visitation.
