He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Manternach and Laura Manternach; and his siblings, John Manternach and Susan Brown. He is survived by: his former wife Debbie Hoffman; his children, Kory Manternach (Ashley) of Dyersville and Maggie Boesen (Brian) of Davenport; his grandchildren, Leigha, Miley, Johnny Manternach and Piper Boesen; and his siblings, Julie Manternach, Alan Manternach (Sharon), Lee Manternach (Glinda), Greg Manternach, Julie Ripple (Roger), Randy Manternach (Debbie) and Ed Manternach (Amy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Courageous.
