It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Wernimont in Cascade, Iowa, born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on June 14, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Charlie; her son Robert; her parents, Carlyn Denlinger and Marie Denlinger (Gansen); her siblings, Carol Clemen, John and Clair Denlinger; and her in-laws, Ruth Denlinger, William, Mary Decker, Ralph Bergfeld and Milton Weber.
She is survived by: her children, Ron Wernimont, Diane Miner (Dave), Kevin Wernimont (Jennifer), Donna Busch (Flint Drake), Ken Wernimont, Joyce Cravens (Shane), Joanne Reynolds and Julie Wernimont; her grandchild Ryan Wernimont (Molly); her great grandchildren, Ryder, Brianna Fury (Tony) and Jake Miner (Ashleigh); her sisters, Luann Weber and Marilyn Bergfeld; her in-laws, Gib Clemen, Hubert and Liz Decker; and also, Jack, Aubrie, Aurora, Brandon Miner, Alyssa Lynch (Nick), Aiden, Ella, Mackenzie Wernimont, Oliver, Myles Wernimont, Mitchell Wernimont, Jalee Begle (Josh), Mason, Will, Cody Frommelt (Brittany), Gavin, Landon, Evelyn, Alea Lynch (Chase), Kylin, Kash, Johnny, Lucas Busch (Victoria Vail), Adam Busch (Jordan), Jayda Reynolds and Holland Reynolds. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
