He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Straka and Dora Straka (Pettera); and his brother Donald Straka. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Peiffer (Edna); his stepchildren, Annette Ennis (David) of Asbury, IA, Allan Meyers (Kimberly) of Benton, WI, Ed Meyers of Monticello, IA and Kim Coohey (Rodney) of Cascade, IA; his sister-in-law Pam Straka of Dubuque, IA; and his nieces and nephews, Wendy Faulker Jr. (Emerald) of Readstown, WI, Shawn Straka (Sarah) of Bridgeport, WI and Rachael Straka of Dubuque, IA. He is also survived by five step grandchildren; two twin step great grandchildren.
