The memory of Darlene M. Finn of Cascade, Iowa, who passed away on October 23, 2024 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Donahue and Lucille Donahue (Supple); her husband Vincent Finn of Peter's Catholic Church; her children, Steve "Buck" Finn and Chris Takes; her son-in-law Ed Breitbach; her siblings, Alberta Kalinowski (Raymond), Agnes "Bobbi" Callahan (William) and Joe Donahue; and her siblings-in-law, Pat Finn (Mary), Gerald "Rusty" Finn, Marguerite Frasher (Edward "Barney"), Sabina Dotterweich (Al), Stella Finn, Verna Kleitsch (Wilfred), Mabel Fothergill (Claude) and Eleanor "Lollie" Finn.
She is survived by: her children, Renee Breitbach of Monticello, Lori Klocke of Monticello and Pat Finn of Cascade; her son-in-law Cliff Takes of Anamosa; her grandchildren, Kara Butterworth (Tony), Amy Kuehler (Kyle), Brandon Breitbach, Chelsea Takes, Brittany Takes (Justin Tjaden), Robbie Takes (Karsen Rowe), Shae Takes, Mandy Hanken (Logan), Paige Beranek (John), Toni McQuillen (Tyler), Danni Shireman (Derek) and Buck Finn (Rachel Feeney); and her sister-in-law Marie Finn. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Martin's Catholic Church (408 3rd Ave NW, Cascade, IA 52033). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
